At the present moment my household and I are involved in full-sized kitchen renovations. And while that is being pursued it brought thoughts about revamping our dollhouses to mind.
Never one to actually enjoy things staying the same, these ideas bring newness to our old dollhouse kitchen settings. When you think of it really nothing has to be carved in stone and remain the same forever. Especially not our dollhouses.
So just what is available for Dollhouse Kitchen Renovations?
We start off by listing the most admirable examples. No not the plastic ones. Loving Barbie as I do her furnishings of plastic that look the part will not do. Even though we will see plastic being used in all products, Barbie's plastic style is just too childish for an adult's tastes.
Generally it is desired that we create something that we ourselves would love to live in. So with that in mind we will explore different designs on the market. Ones that would make us really desire to see somewhat the same in our own living environments.

Give your Tiny Kitchen a much needed Facelift...
Continuing right along with your dollhouse kitchen renovations... What is needed to get started on your project? What must you do to begin changing this tiny dwelling?
Step #1: The Start
Begin by deciding how much you desire to renovate. Are you saving some elements or are you doing a clean start? One in which you will remove everything that is currently in your kitchen.
So in this step decide on what level your dollhouse kitchen renovations will proceed. Whether in part or whole room renovations.
Step #2: Completely Remove all Obstacles
Remove all unwanted accessories and finishes. This step includes furniture, wall finishes, floor covers, and anything that will not be used in your new kitchen. Be tough and remove what needs to go.
I know that's easier said than done. We all love certain aspects and dislike extra work. But think of the great design you will have in the end. So strip your kitchen wherever it is needed.
Step #3: Choose the Designs you Want
This is the fun part. Shopping for new stuff. Go ahead and pick out paint, flooring, wallpaper, furniture or whatever you desire. Make sure at this stage that you go treat yourself to the new elements. It's no good here if it only remains as a dream.
And if you can not purchase all of it now? Purchase it in pieces as you need. Write out your plan of what you anticipate doing and stick with it until you finish the job. Jobs left unfinished only frustrate us. So commit to the finish.
Step #4: Work away at your Design until you Finish.
When finished make sure you invite people in for a tiny housewarming party to show off your newest features in your dollhouse kitchen renovations. You could even truly have a party to tell people of your accomplishments. That would be the most fun, to share your dollhouse with the ones you love and respect and make a fun evening of it for all. Why not use it as a means to throw the ultimate party? With prizes and great entertainment. That way everyone wins.
Step #5: Spend moments Admiring and Enjoying your Dollhouse
Do spend some special moments admiring your work. Everyone needs to see that they have done a great job. If you like your results tell yourself you do. If they are slightly off take the time to improve. It really may only take the addition of certain features or even the removal of some to complete your work. Pat yourself on the back with every milestone reached in your design efforts. You will personally be glad you did.

Tiny food on display in the right manner adds to your overall kitchen settings. If you are troubled about how to do such a thing as display items. Look around you. Is there a setting in your home you could copy?
The way the food and dishes are featured could be just as your family left it as they departed for work or other events. Copy what you see in real life.
Get your camera and take some pictures to help in planning the how's and the how-to's. Even style a setting and then take your pictures. Yes place plates where and how you want them to look. Full of the food of your choice or half-eaten dishes depicting an active miniature family.
Then work away at your displays until you have the end product you want. After all it is your hobby to enjoy at every moment you put into it.
